About Me

Hello! My name is Nathan Self, and I’m a former D1 basketball player at Houston Christian University. Off the court, I channel my passion for sports into my work as a fitness coach, helping others achieve their personal health goals. My faith as a Christian deeply influences both my professional pursuits and personal life, guiding me in my commitment to excellence and community service. Whether it’s on the basketball court or during a training session, I strive to inspire and uplift those around me through perseverance, teamwork, and faith.

My Transformation

My transformation journey began when I weighed 155 pounds at a height of 6'3". Over the course of three years, I dedicated myself to a rigorous and meticulously planned fitness regimen, pushing the boundaries of what I thought was possible. Through a combination of strength training, nutritional adjustments, and sheer determination, I was able to significantly increase my muscle mass and overall physical strength. This journey wasn't just about physical growth; it also tested and strengthened my mental resilience and discipline. Today, I stand at the same height but weigh 215 pounds, a testament to my hard work and the power of dedication to one’s goals. This transformation has not only improved my performance on the basketball court but also deepened my understanding and effectiveness as a fitness coach, allowing me to better serve and inspire others in their own fitness journeys.
